Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. What type of chemicals do you use?

We use EPA* approved (eco/kid/pet-friendly), essential oil based, store brought, name brand, and industrial chemicals.

2. What types of services do you offer?

Residential, Commercial, Move in/Move out, and Post-Construction.

​

3. Is there a size limit on the building site?

There is no job too small or large within our scope.

​

4. Are your chemicals pet/kid friendly?

We have an option for non chemical cleaning.

​

5. What time do you open?

We start our cleaning services as early as 7 am. The website hours are for scheduling estimates.

6. Are you hiring?

Yes, we are training new independent contractors for the regular season starting in March.

​

7. What is the donation button for on the website?

The donation will ensure that our teammates don't have to pay for uniforms and/or travel.

​

8. Do you service homes that need extermination?

We do not service sites with heavy infestations, however, we can subcontract an exterminator if the client doesn't have access to an exterminator.

9. Do you give refunds if a client isn't satisfied?

We haven't had that as an outcome, but in the event that something does occur during servicing a client we would offer refund, follow up with a thank you card, and offer free or discounted services.

 

10. What happens if something breaks while you're servicing a client?

We are 100% insured.

 

11. What is your service location radius?

We serve the entire city of Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia area.

12. Does your company prefer for clients to be home or away while you're working?

We rely on our client's individual preferences. While we don't mind working while clients are present, we love the element of surprise that satisfied clients display upon their return.

13. Do you wear foot coverings, masks, googles, etc.?

We respect the religious, superstitious, and health conscious opinions/beliefs of each and every client. Where appropriate, we suit up, wear masks, apply goggles, and don foot coverings.

14. Do you make beds, do dishes and/or do laundry?

Yes

15. Do you do deep cleaning or maintenance cleaning?

Yes, both.

​

16. Do you clean outside?

Outside jobs are negotiated during the estimate. If there isn't too much heavy lifting we can service the client. If movers are necessary, we can subcontract prior to providing the service.

17. How many people do you send on each job?

We send 2 team members on each job. During jobs with upgrades or special requests we can provide 3 or more if needed.

18. Do you shampoo rugs/carpet?

We provide light carpet/rug cleaning. We look forward to expanding into larger commercial carpet cleaning in the future.

19. Do you organize?

Yes

20. Do you clean appliances ie. refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers?

Yes

21. Do you clean electronics?

Yes

22. Do you clean fireplaces?

23. Do you subcontract?

Yes for services outside of our scope.

24. Do you work on holidays?

25. Can you provide legal paperwork?

26. Do you provide any services outside of cleaning?

We make essential oil hair/body products and fresheners under Urbin Fuzion Aromatics.

27. How many years experience do you have?

Our professionals have various years of experience dating back 30+ years.

28. Are you a family owned business?

UFCS is a SMLLC* owned by Virginia Jones.

​

29. How do you handle personal/valuable items?

As a fail safe, we send clients reminder emails a day or two before the scheduled service to recommend that personal/valuable items are removed prior to our arrival.

30. How do you handle dealing with large or aggressive animals?

We don't handle animals. We ask ahead of time for animals to be away from the cleaning areas so as not to disrupt or detract from the services provided. We will make concessions for service animals.
